Bio
Welcome to my "blawg." I will be writing a short summary and a very short bit of critical analysis about each United States Supreme Court decision as it comes down. I don't expect to link heavily to other blogs; while there are many excellent blogs that discuss Supreme Court decisions, my primary reason for doing this is personal interest in reading and analyzing each of the Court's decisions. For similar reasons, I do not plan to comment on denials or grants of certiorari in general, although I may occasionally. I may also occasionally post discussions of legal issues that interest me without referencing a Supreme Court case.

Feel free to link to this blog; I would appreciate an e-mail when you do so, but that's not required. I will try to read the comments regularly, but don't promise to respond to any comments. I also do not plan to edit out any comments that contain meaningful content.

Just to get some formal stuff out of the way: the contents of this blog, including my comments but not the comments of any other posters, are copyright 2003, Adam H. Morse. I practice law as an Associate Counsel in the Democracy Program of the Brennan Center for Justice at NYU School of Law. I am grateful to Deborah Goldberg and the Brennan Center for giving me permission to run this blog. However, my posts and comments represent solely my personal opinions and do not represent the position of the Brennan Center. The only exception is cases which the Brennan Center participated in as counsel or as an amicus curiae, in which case I will disclose our involvement and get the approval of the Brennan Center before posting. As should be obvious, nothing I post on this site, including comments in response to specific questions, should be construed as legal advice.
